Hooray! W4 R1 done!

Feeling good that I got through - and I didn't find it too bad! Seemed like a big step up this week and was really nervous before doing it, wondering if it would be the first run where I would need to walk before the running section was up but I just slowed down a couple of times when it felt tough and then I seemed to get a second wind.

Really pleased I managed it and it felt ok! I haven't dared weigh myself but my clothes are feeling different and my body shape has changed a bit I think (even though my eating habits haven't been brilliant the last couple of weeks) so I feel great! Thanks for all your motivation! I don't think I'd still be going without this forum! :)

I find that every time I am really nervous about the step up from one week to the next it's never anywhere near as bad as I feared! Must be something todo with how well the program is planned. Re: stepping on the scales. You must remember muscle weighs more than fat so the numbers may not actually reflect the change in your body size and shape. If you feel better, sod the numbers! Good luck with the rest of the program.

Congratulations! I am at exactly the same stage as you, W4R1, maybe we can be virtual running buddies :)

Haha I love this idea! It's really good to see posts of people at a similar point in the programme to me and that we all feel similarly about it!

Good for you! Hope I can do the same tomorrow, starting W4. 😊

Yeah well done it's the going slow I think is the key. You did it! Onward and upward!
