Hi there. As excited as I am to have reached this point, I gotta say it was tough. But Laura seems to know exactly how I'm feeling and says what I need to hear to keep going. Obviously we won't increase our strength and endurance unless we push through our comfort zones a little. And this run was all about that. And yes, I'm still on the treadmill. The incline is set to 2, my walking pace is 6.5 mph and running is 8 mph. It's mountainous where we live and I'd need to drive to a flatter area and I always run out of time. So the tready is finally earning its keep! But I just wanted to say I really felt crap mentally when I woke up, and I had to really force myself to do the run. But afterwards I felt so happy and and relieved and ready to face the world. Sometimes it feels like this program is the only good thing going on. So I'm mighty grateful to all of you, and the creators of the plan. It really is life changing!

It really is!! You are doing incredibly well. Each run prepares you for the next one. & each success is sweet. A whole new world awaits you... just keep getting in to those trainers! Well done!!
Thanks Annieapple! That's right, putting on the trainers is 3 quarters of the battle. Before the run I felt low in energy and knew I should've eaten something earlier, but somehow it doesn't matter once you're in the midst of it. As Laura keeps telling me, just keep going right to the end. I love when she says (in Week 3 at least) that the incredible feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction of making it through to the end far outweighs any pain or fatigue we may be experiencing midway through. It's like being an elite athlete with a personal coach! Hahaha.
Glad to hear that this helped you feel happy, even if achieving it was tough. Perhaps that’s what gives that amazing positive vibe.
Good for you 🙂
Thank you Comfortnotspeed. It's usually the case isn't it ..... when we're in a funk the best thing we can do is get out into nature or exercise. Ideally combine the two! But so often it's the last thing we feel like doing when we're depressed 🤔
Yes. No argument with that. Just askin...are you ok?
