Well I usually don't run at weekends, I drink cider and eat pizza (cider is made from apples and I have peppers, tomatoes and onions on my pizza. So after 2 pints of cider that's my 5 a Day). Anyway I have to drive up to Leicester tomorrow to empty out my sons room in his halls and 'decontaminate' his bathroom (he's just finished his first year at DMU - proud Ma) I think after that I will be too traumatised to run. So anyway, I decided to go today and attempt W7R1. It was harder than W6R3 but I still did it! There were a lot more people around than there usually are in the week which would have sent me back under my duvet a few weeks ago but I just smiled and carried on. I never really thought I would be comfortable enough to run where the 'real runners' go. Another C25K miracle has occurred!!
Running on a Sunday!: Well I usually don't run... - Couch to 5K
Running on a Sunday!
I really do not understand why you're surprised; if you can decontaminate the room and bathroom of a student (and live to tell it), there is nothing you cannot do. 😁
Halleujah ! Praise be !
Well done, I love my Sunday run tbh, best day of the week for me
Good Luck for tomorrow ! xxx
I have done that "decontamination run a couple of times - girls are no better let me tell you! By the way - you ARE a REAL runner! Well done.
Getting in the car to go and face the inevitable soon 😱. When I see the mess I may prove to myself that I am a real runner when I run away screaming!!
On one memorable occasion I put the contents of the washing machine into a bin bag and put the whole lot straight into the bin!
Well, it wasn't too bad. I didn't realise that the shower door was transparent until I cleaned it and I have never seen so much fluff in my life! Dust bunnies? More like dust Mammoths! All in all ok. His room at home has already lost its pristine tidiness and the electricity bill is about to hit the roof with the return of many electronic items. But it's so good to have him home. And he's really supportive of my running. Onwards!
