If you look at the blue pinned posts on the right, there is a heading " Graduates Badge May 2016 " you just need to  post on there saying you've completed .

Exicting stuff ! :-) xxx

Aaaagh I've got a badge!!! Never ever did I think I could do this. I know to some it's a small step & I know I won't ever make the Olympic team, but for someone who has always hated & failed at all sports / exercise...it's a big deal to me.

Congratulations! You've struggled to get there. I hope you are enjoying your progress and achievement. Now rest on your laurels for a day or two and let us know where your running journey is taking you next.

Well done, Doodle! Another graduate to join us all! Any plans for the future?

I guess to actually hit the 5k mark, but I kinda think I just want to continue for pleasure at the mo & take away the clock & targets & see where I get.

Congratualtions.

Which Hardwick Hall was it: Chesterfield or Sedgefield? If it's Sedgefield, you should be turning up there at 9am next Saturday for Sedgefield parkrun. Parking is free as long s you leave a spare parkrun barcode label in the windscreen.

Thank you. Yes Sedgefield but definitely not brave enough to even contemplate a park run. I like it when it's quiet & not many people around. Just need to trot along at my pace. Crowds would terrify me.

Don't assume that everyone at parkrun is fast. Last week at Sedgefield people were coming in at 45 minutes. At my local run (Durham) it was 50 minutes. There's something about the parkrun atmosphere that makes running in a group special. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you are, people will cheer you in. There's a very inclusive atmosphere.

If you like, I'd be quite happy to accompany you round at Sedgefield, Durham or one of the other local runs (Shildon is different - typically 30 participants and that includes the hen party with the prospective bride dressed as a banana...). Just message me (though I'm not available next week - I'm half hoping to run the Cambridge one).

Thank you so much for your offer & support. I think I need to find some confidence first. I'm intimidated by dogs running past or a leaf blowing along faster than me at mo lol

Well done Doodles123  you must be so proud 😁

Congratulations Doodles :)

It is an awesome feeling knowing you've graduated and have nailed 30 minute runs- and, your words- especially 'little chubby' you :)

Try and aim to keep to your 3x30 min runs for the next few weeks, a wee cheeky 5k/parkrun is a great 'next goal'.

Good luck :)
