Hi, just finished my run and it felt great! The first 90 seconds and 3 minutes were so much easier than the last run. I even did an extra set at the end as felt like I wanted to do more.
They were setting up for Parkrun and I was thinking 'I'll be joining you all in a few weeks'
Just one question, any tips on breathing? I feel like I'm not doing it right and struggling.

I'm on the same week, are you on the laura pod casts? On the week 2 cast she says to breath in for 4 strides then out for 4 so you breath really deeply. I have been trying to do that and it seems to work quite well.
Lots of different views on breathing - nose or mouth, counting or not etc.
If you are struggling for breath you probably need to slow down a bit. You can try what Laura recommends, but in the end you have to find what suits you. In any event - just keep breathing!
Yes I remember doing cross country at school years ago and they told us to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. I don't find that very efficient but had it in my head that that's the only way to do it when you run.
Today's run was much better and I just tried to do what felt natural rather than over think it.
Hi Shireen I am at exactly the same point as you and called Shareen!! Did my run on the treadmill this morning and like you also did another set as it felt pretty comfortable. As others have said trying to take it slower and follow Laura's breathing tips which I found much easier in the treadmill than outdoors . All the best to you !
Hi there yes I did - I'm still finding the breathing tricky when trying to coordinate with steps , hoping it will get better . Week 4 here we come ( bit terrified if I'm honest!!) 👍👍👍
