Came home after two rather emotionally draining days at work to do day two. It was fine, but cannot quite understand why I am thinking " this needs to end soon" in the five min run section when I do not actually feel completely exhausted (tho am sweaty, pleasingly) at the end of the session. Is this the psychological " I still don't feel like a runner" thing? Or am I just overthinking it (I know I do this) ? Even more frustrating tho, is trying to get advice on how to upload a photo to the site. Trivial, but annoying nevertheless. Hope you are all faring well out there!

Yes it is psychological and yes you are overthinking it.

Perfectly normal to have these feelings from time to time (or very commonly throughout the entire first 10 minutes of a run) The problem is thinking they mean anything or you have to do anything about them.

These are the gremlins. They creep into your mind and try to talk you into giving up. We all know them and we all battle them. Find something to occupy your mind with as you run, make lists, remember the names of everyone in your last class, plan your holiday. The gremlins get fed up and wander off to invade another runner's mind.
