That is a great report Patrick,,, and you are famous!!! Wow.

Your journey has been so inspiring and the photo of you coming in at the run  was wonderful!

If your story does not inspire, encourage and motivate folk... and with that excellent report too.. I do not know what will! I know that it inspires me :)

Thank you x

Isn't that great?

Well done :)

Congratulations!  We must be in the same neck of the woods then :) Hoping to join the Parkrun at Conwy some time in the future...when I've built up enough confidence to run with others around :P

Thanks Debs, please come along soon we are such a friendly bunch, do'nt wory about the other runners they  are all doing their own thing. I started at the back this morning and was soon seeing those in front vanishing into the distance ! apart for a few beginners like you and me. Still got a new PB and got under 40 minutes 39:46

Thanks Patrick I will do hopefully before Race for Life which is on 12th June just trying to get to a full 5K run first. I managed 4K yesterday so hopefully won't be too long ☺

Haha Patrick, now you are famous, you can never backslide! What a great, friendly bunch you have at Conwy parkrun. I am so envious, unfortunately we don't have anything like that here.

where about are you? If you go to parkrun.org and put your postcode in it can find an event for you. Parkruns are worldwide.

I am in Germany Patrick. It hasn't reached us yet, would also be an absolute nightmare to try and organise with all the regulations which isperhaps why we don't have them. Will definitely try and run a couple of park runs next time I go home.
