Who would have thought it....using my Middle English on a running forum What fun!
Anyway, I woke up this morning, after a very, very weird dream.
I was at Chirk Castle...scene of my past post, " and this is dedicated to". Just before I woke, I had just signed up for a Park run In the Castle Grounds..!!!
!!!
In the dream, if you signed up, a very hale and hearty lady, in long, khaki running shorts, ( think Morecambe and Wise, those of you who are old enough), and an anorak... gave you a bottle of Chardonnay, which I am not fond of, a box of chocolates, which I don't eat and a really lovely picnic blanket... Yeay. Then you had to dip your hand in a huge stirrup cup, type thing which had ice and coal floating in it, all sacred symbols of running , the lady told me ... go figure!
I really am odd
This was on my mind as I woke, so I had a quick look on the NT site and picked up this link.
Morning missus ☺ I dreamt that I awoke to find a glass of wine on my bedside table. I gave up boozing several years ago (in real life, not in the dream ). In my dream this glass of wine set me in a panic as I thought i'd fallen off the wagon. I was ever so put out.
Ha ha!!!! Brilliant..So funny... but hang on... he is coming over to see Her Majesty.. maybe.. just maybe... ??? A one bedroomed flat eh.... interesting....
Yeah! Weird! Just like some of mine! 😀 l've been to a few of those NT houses in September last year, Montacute & Lanhydrock house's, on an organised tour of the southwest, so sadly unable to do the Parkruns...😔
Great link Floss. I think hubby and I will look into this. He has just retired and we are keen to do some trips in the uk, we should definately pack our running gear, we are used to scenic long walks but now our lovely dog is 13 she is not really up to it. Running would introduce a new dimension..
You didnt eat cheese before bed last night did you?.....😊
I did.... I usually avoid cheese after 12 noon... A trip to the UK sounds wonderful... let me know if you are heading this way...So may great places.. Derbyshire.. amazing..but hilly for runs.. Shropshire a bit flatter generally !!! South Staffs.. I know just the places !
