Just had best birthday party ever

Day started with Parkrun and had great run but wasn't expecting time of 35.7 because wind really strong so over the moon Totally recommend adult bouncy castle This 60yr old grandma had sooooo much fun (6mths ago too overweight and unfit to even contemplate going on bouncy castle never mind the front somersault wee ones made me do !!) Instead of pressies suggested people could sponsor grandson and me for race we running in may and everyone very generous Perfect day with family and friends - you can't beat that

Sounds like you really had a perfect day - and the weather stayed fine too! Loving the thought of you turning somersaults on that bouncy castle :)

Congratulations on your time for Parkrun too. I am still planning on doing my first parkrun on the 1st March but I will pm you and let you know for sure. It would be good to say hi 'in person' if you are there that day and we see each other. I know there are sometimes over 400 runners. That said i think my speed would be similar to yours so we might end up in the same part ( end? ) of the group!!
