First 5k under 30 mins!

With my legs still aching from a 6.5k run on Sunday (trying to bridge to 10km) decided to go out for an easy 30min run and just enjoy being out in the amazing weather.

When my fitbit announced the first km at a 5minute pace I was pretty surprised, that was my fast ever but thought 'ah the strength of the first km, it will slow down' but then I just carried on like that. And managed to do 5k in 29 minutes!

I have no idea how!? I wasn't trying, it just kinda of happened. I wonder if I will ever be able to do that again? We will see :)

Well done - I found my 5k pace improved too, when I started extending my distance. And yes, of course you will do it again!😀

Wow, that's my dream scenario - both the fact that you ran 5k in less than 30 min. And the fact that it just happened without you having to exhaust or pressure yourself. Great inspiration for a W5'er
