Looked at the upcoming forecast last night and decided I couldn’t afford a 2 day rest before my next run as that would put me in the centre of another mad wind weather warning. I bit the bullet and woke early this morning and got my wk 8:3 run over and done with before the weather got too bad. It was windy and wet, but not as bad as it is now a mere 2 hrs later, so pleased I went early.
I’ve now discovered my natural pace I think, and also much prefer listening to audiobooks as before I was mentally working out how long each track was and anticipating Sarah Millican’s prompts in advance. When listening to a good book, they appear surprisingly and unexpectedly earlier. A good run today to finish week 8. I wasn’t exhausted by the end, so feel I should be able to do a full 30 mins next time - wind permitting

Brilliant, when I looked out this morning it was windy and monsoon like rain I'm totally an audiobook fan when I'm running makes the time past so fast. Good luck for w9, hopefully the weather will be better for you.
Great stuff. I’ve found spoken word really helps too - totally get lost listening to something and the run, breathing and pace take care of themselves. So close now!
