We all know what a great amount of support we have on here from all our friends. This struck a real chord with me today, as I spend much time looking around when running.I just take it for granted....maybe not any more.

Wondered if anyone is taking part on this or done anything like it?

Thank you for this - I had not heard of it but it looks like a really good idea - so I have entered and hope I can do it, I entered first and will have to look at work commitments later.

I started doing C25K because I entered a relay marathon - carried out by a team of 10 so 2.6 miles each - it's in Romsey on April 17th - I thought this programme would be the best way to try to prepare from a base line of nil, and the race will be my graduation run - if I make it.

I had just started to think I need a goal to aim for to keep me running after the race is over - and this looks like the perfect thing.

See you there?

It's supposed to be a very different experience and requires a lot of trust in your running guide. Great cause too.

That must be a pretty different and surreal experience.

In my job I had the opportunity to try some devices mimicking different physical impairment, from limited or no vision to limited mobility; it was an eye-opening experience (no pun intended) but it was in the controlled environment of a laboratory.

This real-life situation must be so much more revealing and humbling.
