I felt a bit sluggish and heavy last night. I haven't had one of those massively energetic runs in quite a while now. I didn't have a hugely substantial meal for lunch, a salad at 2.00 and a cuppa soup at 4 doesn't really do much for a run at 6.30 - maybe that was it. Anyway, I've got to the point now where I see the intervals as more of an interruption than a welcome break. If I lose my rhythm it takes a lot to get it back again. I also don't like knowing how long I have left (I like a surprise when I look and there's only 3 minutes left!) I might just set a timer and turn Laura off.
I have had a bit of left calf pain, my ankle seems a bit twangy and has been for the last few runs now. My right leg is absolutely fine, I would be just perfect if my left leg felt like my right! After W6R3 I might have an extra couple of days rest to see if that helps but I want to get W6R3 out of the way first.
I think Im going to enjoy my next run, I have two days to psych myself up!
