A few aches and pains the morning after but basically ecstatic! The final run, the 20-minuter was weird in that it felt impossible in the first few minutes, then ok, then impossible again, then ok again right up to Laura's call. I'm still buzzing the next day about carrying that one off.
W5R2 was also a good 'un because I ran straight from work, the first time I felt up to doing that. Achilles started feeling tender so I slowed it right down, must have looked like I was virtually running on the spot. Can't help being a bit self conscious as there are nearly always much more fit-looking runners out and about where I go....but its a means to an end so s*d it!

Well done! I started week 5 this morning as soon as Laura said it was going to be 3 different runs I thought uh oh...this doesn't sound good I managed all three of the 5 minute runs without stopping - the first was the hardest, the second felt tough as it was more uphill but the last was downhill so felt good. The next run is Tues and then Thurs - I honestly cannot see how I'll be able to run 20 mins then!
Haha know how that feels! You've done it before, you know you can do it again and w5r3 is really the turning point, isn't it? Well done seeing it through.
