Just follow the programme! We've all panicked at the thought of 20 mins running, but you'll be prepared for it by then. You've got 5 runs between then and now, gradually increasing the time. Read some of the older posts, we've all been there and we were all surprised and elated when we did it! You will too!

"how do I get from here to there??!" - the program does - that is what it's designed to do.  It's a 'program' - the clue is in the name - it programs you to do the next run ;-)  You're about to do Week 4, yes? How do you think you managed Week 3? Because the program programmed you to do it with Weeks 1 and 2 :-)

As long as you take nice and easy and run SLOWLY, you'll be fine. Seriously, just take it one run at a time - why worry about what's coming up in a few weeks time?  If you're that concerned, have a look at the "Topics"  on the right hand side of the page - most people post about Week 1 ("I'm starting!"), Week 5 ("How do I do this? / I've done it!!") and Week 9 ("YAYYY!").

Good luck

John

Ok John - I'm beginning to get the message - trust the program!!!! Problem is, I've never done a program before and I really don't trust my body 😏 but as you rightly say, I've got through weeks 1-3, so here goes ....

Thanks for the support 😀

That's the spirit!  Do you have any serious reasons why your body would let you down? Sure, you're going to get some aches & discomfort, but if your body isn't used to this, then that's natural. As you continue (and you will!), things might get tricky at some points, but persevere and you'll be pleasantly surprised and seriously impressed with yourself :-)

Trust me.
