Just a quick line or two to say that I will be running my very first official 5k tomorrow morning in Regent's Park on behalf of the British Heart Foundation. I have never run for a total 5k - but I have covered this distance including the warm up and cool down walks from the plan. I feel fairly confident and excited. I'm also seeing my cousin for the first time in about 4 and a half years - she is completing half marathons and 10ks and such, but she still wants to come cheer me on.
Thank you to everyone in this community who have got me to this stage - by helping me to keep going, for checking up on me with this cough, for encouraging me during my blips. I will think of you all as I run tomorrow!!
Enjoy the bank holiday weekend, and good luck if any of you are running this weekend
