I feel caged :(

I can't settle on the injury couch atall.. feel very frustrated and quite upset I can't go for my run:( still in a bit of discomfort even after taking two ibrufen and two paracetamol.. So my head telling me it's not wise to risk further injury.. I think it's just a pulled muscle and not cracked rib..as the pain isn't as bad as the pain I had felt when cracked a rib last year.. So hopefully just staved it when I fell.. but the having to be sensible isn't sitting well atall.. :( This running addiction is bad.. lol...

  • Oh bless. I feel your pain sparky. This is my 8th week being on the IC and I'm even dreaming about running now! Keep positive, running will always be there for you, and this is only temporary but at the minute you must be sensible and rest up.

    I'll put the kettle on and we can sit and natter about all things running!

  • Poor you, I feel your pain. I had to pause with knee pain and it is so frustrating. Watch Chariots of Fire. Or would that make it worse?

  • I've been busy in the kitchen all morning... put my frustrated energy to some use.. made a pot of veg soup.. and a pot of veg sweet and sour.. all tubbed up now.. cooling ready for the freezer.. I can still keep up my healthy eating.. Thanks for all your thoughts.. got to get out for work now.. hope you all have a happy day :)

  • Aehmm... if you are still sore and you suspect you might have a cracked rib, maybe you should pay a visit to your GP.
