I DID IT!!! but injured and not due to running.

Well I managed to finish on Saturday but with mixed feelings. Due to the constant coughing since before Christmas I think I might have cracked a rib, believe it or not. The pain is intense when I cough and very unpleasant when I take a deep breath. I wanted to finish c25k at the weekend so despite my husbands warnings, I did a very slow and gentle jog. And I managed to do 36 mins!

So onwards and upwards. I have registered my details for my nearest parkrun but that'll be a way off yet because the distance I managed in 36 mins was only 1.95 miles!!!! I put this down to the slowness of my pace due to not wating to have to breath too deeply.

I shall now ask for my lovely green graduate badge.

Good luck with your running everyone.

Congratulations and that badge looks mighty pretty next to your name!!! :-) Take care and maybe a visit to the Doc is in order? Wishing you a speedy recovery and toasting you here in the States. Cheers! :-) Gayle

Yay, congratulations on your beautiful new badge! Not good about the ribs, though - might be a good idea to go and get checked out to make sure it's not pleurisy or something horrible like that - although I do hope not! Let us know how you get on,

Annie
