I found the 3 minutes a breeze which was really uplifting. I reminded myself that a couple of weeks ago the idea of 3 minutes terrified me and I struggled through. It’s so nice to feel progress. On my last run, I think I could have run for an extra minute or so had I not been interrupted by a family friend walking the other way. I was glad for the interruption not coming mid run though! Run 3 tonight, I’m hoping I will find the 5 minutes comfortable ready for week 5. (I daren't look at the sequence!)
Off to Cheltenham this weekend with a big long walk planned for Sunday around the Cotswolds I used to call home. Hopefully it won’t leave me too achey for W5R1 on Monday. Raring to go and will have my new running shoes by then. Feeling great!

Thanks Patrick! That's a good one, I hadn't realised that. Always good to have a milestone Well good luck. We have to just put our trust in the programme I guess, it's got us this far. Let us know how you get on!
Don't wish to disillusion you all, but the half way point is actually in W5. On W4R2 you've done 11 out of 27 runs (on W5R2 14 out of 27). You are in W4, but it's not complete yet, so you've done 3 1/2 weeks.
Sorry to be a stickler - blame it on my father, he was always pointing things like that out to us. We learned to be very precise!
I was too! Don't worry though. Slow and steady is the key. I often find that I want to stop, look at the clock and there's only 20 seconds left You can do it, and don't let those gremlins get in the way!
