Me ! No way !

Well, last February I started C25K and I remember thinking wk 5 run 3, run for 20 minutes, no way !. I did and now just over 12 months later, I have taken complete leave of my senses. I have only gone and entered a Triathlon 400 meters in the pool, 20k bike ride followed by 5k and to think think 2 years ago, I was 17st drank 20 pints of Guinness a week a bottle of rum and celebrated national kebab day every week. I'm a changed man ! For those thinking, I can't lose weight, I can't run 5k or just simply thinking I can't. Well, YOU CAN IF I CAN.

Great to hear this. I did W5 R1 last night and found that tough. So not looking forward to 20 minutes non stop at the end of the week as just not sure I can do it. You may just have given me the confidence. Good luck with the tri.

Well done!

Yes, I can vouch for that! I've always eaten and drank well. But, at 16st 6lb in my medium frame, it was getting too much! and depression had got worse in recent years. So I managed to kick-start a healthier diet, mainly just cutting back the the fats & sugars, no calorie counting, and being active I lost nearly 2st!

Then, I did c25k, and to date have lost another stone through running. I feel more swifter, mobile, happier and positive, and of course fitter! as I was many years ago. I still have a little weight to lose but what a difference!

So, if some discipline & dedication is used, then YES! you can!😊
