I ran yesterday and I know your supposed to have a day's rest but really felt up for it this morning a new route running home after my yoga class and I ran 4K in the 30 minute run, so last day of level 9 on weds , I used fit bit app to log the run and averaged 8 mins per kilometre so really pleased with my progress , and I do believe I was smiling in the sunshine ,

If you have a fitbit watch with GPS it's great. I've been using it since before I started the C25K for tracking my exercise. I have found the fitbit really helps with motivation. I have the fitbit surge which also monitirs heart rate and I found that as I was losing weight and getting fitter that I needed to increase the intensity of my exercise to have the same effect, hence doing C25K. I also use Mapmyrun to track runs too.

I started a 5k to 10k program after graduation but have found I am preferring "free running" and map myself a course and run that instead, I am gradually increasing the distance of my runs. I have also started doing Park runs. I find I like to know where the finish line is which you don't get when running for a fixed time.

Each to their own I suppose. Stick to the plan until you graduate then I imaging you will find what works for you.

I like to plan my route , this morning it was short and I had to double back to keep running, till Laura gave me the last five minutes , I need to get my pace regular and today I succeeded , but really enjoying running outside even when it rain or fog signed up for local park run but no rush just when I feel ready,

It's the Fitbit Hr , you can log and track exercise there are various ones I have downloaded map my run but not used it yet, there are lots of different wristbands and watches with different price tags, all do various things , best to ask on this site as we have the same interest,
