Just one more to do, which I hope to do on Friday. The good thing about week 9 run 3 is that you’ve already done the run twice so there’s no big step up.
I’ve really enjoyed the programme. I started off brisk walking on a treadmill and started the programme to relieve the boredom. Was a real struggle to run for 60 seconds at first, but I can (so far) say I’ve never failed a run and I’m really pleased with the progress. Anyone who is unsure of to start the programme should just go for it. I was the most unfit person when I started and I assumed I’d give up when the programme stepped up so I’m really pleased that I’ve got this far.
I’ve no real ambitions to run for longer than 30 mins in the future, I just did it to get fit and lose some weight. I’ve lost 20lbs during the programme (with some adjustments to my diet at the same time). I intend to keep up with the running, I just need to not make excuses when I’m not following the programme.

Best wishes for your last run on the C25K plan on Friday. You should try out a parkrun someday soon. It’s a great way to stay motivated and running during the week as well.
You sound positive , parkrun is great for motivation as your competing against yourself , you should try it I’ve made pals that meet up during the week or keep Intouch with and post our runs on a wee WhatsApp group , 5 of us but it helps , I’ve done 30 mins this am at 5, and I know 2 others going out at 6, so I’m looking forward to hearing how they went . I’ve also lost weight and it helps my relationship with food as I’m in a better frame of mind
Enjoy every step of that graduation run... you’ve earned it.
To keep me running, I need a plan! They don’t all involve going to 10k and beyond of course. Consolidation is good now... and then something like Nike Run Club’s better athlete plan would keep you running and cross training! Or of course you could write down you run days stick them on the fridge and tick them off.
Great job on that weight loss too... you’ve tweaked that diet well.
Enjoy your graduation run AdverseTangent. I said I only wanted to do parkrun and 5ks, but funny how it can change once you’ve consolidated at that distance. A couple of months later I was on the bridge to 10k and now I’m heading for 10 miles . That’s it - no further.
Look at the pinned post FAQs for what to do after graduation and that will keep you busy for a few months. Parkrun is highly recommended.
