Week 4 R2- a pattern...

I'm noticing a pattern here...the first run of each week goes well and then the second run is a killer! Sunday's run went really well but yesterday was hard! I honestly thought I might give up but just kept muttering "gremlins!" in order to keep one foot plodding in front of the other. I got there in the end but can't say I enjoyed it. Next run is Friday- we shall see! My aim is to complete each run without giving up. That's all!

Just hang in there...slow and steady. The gremlins are clever...but you can beat them! Speed does not matter..take it a step at a time. Think snail...you can do this! 😉

Celtproff exactly!! You are one run behind me. Honestly take your rest day.. do something tomorrow stretch..a bit of a walk? By then I hope you feel as strong and ready for last run of week 4! I felt the very same .. but thismorning knew I was ready for it.. and guess what happened??? It was a wow moment first 5 min run I actually smiled and punched the air.. it was amazing..I so know you will do it.. was a tough last five min run ..but again.. somehow that strength of determination gets you there!!! I really hope you have the same experience.. .. x good luck

Definitely don't give up, you will feel amazing when you graduate! I count 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4 and repeat which quietens the gremlins no end. Julie

I think you what you saw what I posted elsewhere? I get exactly the same thing on a Tuesday and reckon it might be tiredness. Maybe try your Run 2 on a Wednesday so you've had an extra day off?

Yes- I posted about my run and then saw yours! It was uncanny as we seem to be having similar experiences. Good to know we're all in the same boat😄

I am with you! Did W4R1 on Saturday and it was OK. My knees were killing me though so took a few days rest and did R2 yesterday and I struggled :( Hoping Friday will be better.
