If you complete W4R3, than W5 is surely within your capabilities. ;)

It is natural to be a little bit "scared" by the additional workload but consider this: if the programme has worked until now, what reason do you have to think it won't work next week?

I'd say, complete W4 and give W5 a go; you can always go back to W4 if you cannot manage it but don't think W5 is out of reach before even trying it.

As Laura says countless times, "you can do it!"

Thanks for the comment Secan scared isn't the word I would have used I will obviously give week 5 ago But I am not confident I will be successful in completing it fully.

You might doubt your ability to complete the run but, for what is worth, I am confident you'll succeed ;)

Believe in yourself and in the work you've done so far; you'll be fine and look back at your doubts with a smile.

Hi Butch , Well done in getting this far . This programme is designed to test you physically and mentally . Each run builds the foundations for the next one .

Complete this week and then if you feel okay , go for it . We all felt the same about Week 5 , it is a biggie but perfectly do -able .

Read through a few of the Week 5 pinned posts just to get a feel of it. You can do this ! :-) xxx

I remember feeling the same about week 5, especially run 3 where I spent the whole 20 minutes wondering if I would be able to keep going when I got to the point where I needed to stop, only to find the 20 minutes was up before it happened

Trust in the program and slow your pacedown and you will be fine.

We're all allowed a bad day. Don't let the doubt-gremlins in and remember you are supposed to be having rest days...swimming the night before?!

Unless you aren't managing the full 5 minute sections of running then push on with your last run and then week 5. YOU CAN DO IT!! :)

Jt24 yes going to give swimming a miss next week and see if that makes any difference.I think the snow may affect my run tomorrow.

Up in sunny Scotland, it has actually been sunny for a couple of weeks :) I'm not liking the idea of disrupted runs at this stage, keen to keep moving onward. Hopefully you'll get a break, good luck :)
