Wk4 run 2 and the killer hill

Just got in from run 2 and I nearly didn't make it to the end. Run one I started on the up hill then Run 2 I hit it again and just made it up then hit it again on the 3rd run. Luckily I missed it on the last 5 minutes run. I don't know whether to find a different route, use the one I do on Saturdays but that might be busy on a week day or stick to the hill. This is the problem of living on the top of a hill.

I am full of admiration for you that you're doing the programme on hills! It's hard enough on the flat. Hills will make you a much stronger runner so that when you do run somewhere flat it'll feel much easier! Make sure you stretch and well done.

move to a non hill area lol seriously though, if you have made this far you are obviously doing something right, you are an inspiration to us newbies. :)

Yes, bit of a killer doing hills on c25k, they will benefit your stamina doing them later on, mark my words, but at the moment try and devise a flatter route to take you through the programme, also devoid of interuptions like roads to cross as well..😊

Just did the last one and mixed it up a bit on the route, I did go up the steep bit twice but did half the down hill shallower side then back up it again a couple of times. Not to bad today and ready to tackle week 5. Gulp!
