Hi there

Hi i just played my music through my amazon prime on last nights run and i could still hear the prompts when to run walk/run as i had both apps open on my phone.
thank you - will try that
Are you using the app or podcasts? The podcasts have music on, though some of it can be a little dodgy, but does speed up and slow down with the intervals.
Thank you - being totally thick. I am using the C25K app.
I will download a podcast. Do you download week by week?
If you can put up with some upbeat but slightly cheesy songs, download the podcasts on the nhs choice c25k website. You will only have to listen to each three times (hopefully) and the words sometimes make you chuckle.
Its all stamina building..lol
Well done on starting the program. Its a good time of year to get outside now if you are able with lighter evenings coming.
Good luck with Week 2. Music will help.
Thank you so much. Am looking at the podcasts now (I feel like I have turned into my mum and have become IT illiterate). I now know the difference between an app and a podcast though....
Lol. I have to get my hubby to do all my tecno stuff.. ...
Glad you will have some running tunes next time out.
Great that you are on the journey, you already know now about the podcasts.. the music is interesting
Onwards and upwards.. enjoy the trip..and keep posting!
Either download them week by week or all in one go up to you and how much space you have. I downloaded them all and then deleted them as they were finished with. I could see myself getting closer to the end that way.
Warning you in advance though - Beware of Julie.
You DO NOT want the music on the podcasts. Trust me on this. Stick with the app and your own music. I would rather have my ears amputated using coarse sandpaper, starting from the foot up than endure Laura's music again.
Now, now ! The app is notoriously unstable, the podcasts aren't......
If you Google C25k podcast or look on Spotify etc you can find dozens, if not, hundreds of C25k alternatives which have music to cater for all tastes from Bach to the Beastie Boys and tend to be earworms in the toe-tapping sense rather than Laura's aural equivalent of Trichinella Spiralis.
A lot of guys seem to feel the same as you Rignold about Laura's music.
We girls seem to be able to stick with it somehow ( we don't mind cheese and aren't all great at transfering music between our gadgety things...)
I have the podcast (via the app), my mapometer & my amazon prime music playing for the 30 minute duration. Keeps me going!! lol xx
