After an incredibly difficult W4 I had wanted to repeat at least one more run from that podcast. But when I got to the gym I was feeling confident...maybe it's the distance between today and the last run, I don't know (also, I could not listen to the music from W4 one more time), but I decided to do W5 and I had a wonderful run! Breathing was a bit difficult but not so much that I wanted to stop even once, no stitch, my legs didn't feel like they would give up on me...in fact, at the last minute of the last run I sped up and could have gone on for a little longer but listened to Laura and slowed down. The gremlins did surface every now I then, but I told them to shut up and go away (far less politely). It feels so good after a terrible W4. Onwards and upwards!
W5R1 and I did it!: After an incredibly... - Couch to 5K
W5R1 and I did it!
Well done to you Shivani. Yes, the music is awful but when you graduate you won't have to listen to it any more!
WTG Shavani!!! Thats very encouraging ooh I've just finished w3r3 thismorning..and am also in the mindset week 4 looks a toughy.. but seeing you got through and survived.. lol.. well there's hope for little old me yet ! Good luck with rest of week 5' can't believe how quick they are going by.. and hay we still here! X
Sounds like you're doing really well. And I think in this stage of the game, it's important to do what Laura says, so well done for listening. It's easy to feel over confident and do that little bit more which then comes back to bite a few days later when the legs are heavy. So nice one Shivani!
It is the big w5 already. That came round fast. You can definitely do this, you're making such good progress now. Never mind those dastardly gremlins, they won't stop you!
Well done pretty much halfway now running is ups and downs good runs and not so good, notice avoided the b word lol.
Keep at it you are doing just fine
Well done I've my last run of my repeated week 4 to do but was looking over week 5 earlier- eeek!! Reckon you've cracked it now though Good luck for the next one xx
