App keeps freezing

more times than i can count my run has been delayed by the app freezing and refusing to load up - consequently i sit around for a while losing the warm up exercises I've done and the motivation to get going and run - I'm week 6 r3 today and really have struggled to motivate myself to get out anyway now the app has frozen and I'm back at my desk writing angst posts……… i'll try again to load it and go in a bit but v frustrated just now - anyone else have any problems or ideas if there is anything that can be done to fix this problem??

Download the podcasts, I had no problem with that..😄

I'm doing the podcasts as well. No problem so far. (Week 3)

I think most people here would recommend that you download the podcasts, rather than using the app. The music is a bit dodgy but at least you can be sure it won't freeze!

Like the others have mentioned, the C25K podcasts are much more reliable, and you get to enjoy (?) a range of music selected for you.

If you want to continue with the app, I found that they are all more reliable (freezing, timekeeping) if you stop all other apps running at the same time. Close down all the apps that you are not using before going for your run.

thank you, i have downloaded the app for this week and will see how i get on failing that i will try closing everything else down on the phone and see if i can access that app better that way.

I found the App very frustrating and I think others have had the same problem. How about downloading the podcasts,mother are fantastic and once you have it, just play

Yes, I agree with using the app. I went out with my sister one day so wasn't using the app. It was week 4 and I made a note of the timings then used the timer and stopwatch on my phone. Not as good as the podcasts but useful if you suddenly get frozen out! Good luck!
