I have completed W1R2... before I set out on my run, I would set up my music, open my stopwatch app to count the time, open my “Mapmyrun” app, then start walking. I would carry my phone in my hand and watch for the time to alternate between 60 and 90.. on both occasions I would forget how many times I’d done 60 and 90.
Yesterday after W1R2.. I noticed the “Run Now” button
Try the one you app, you get a choice of coaches, can play your own soundtrack, get told when to start and stop, and even a bit of encouragement thrown in
I loved Laura on the podcasts. The music can be a bit of a marmite - you may love it or hate it, or just about tolerate it - but it is specifically designed to have the right tempo to fit with when you are walking and when you are running, so I found it really useful. I couldn't have done it without Laura.
