Update : Hi guys - using the Christmas break to... - Couch to 5K
Update
When I graduated from C25K, tried Zenlabs which took me into week 9 of the C210K programme. It was good but at the time felt it was too much too soon and so did my own thing: graduated 13 weeks ago and started with 3 X 5k, moved up to 3 X 6k and then snuck in a 7, 7.5k. Last week thought I would try 8k but kept going to 10k, so even doing my own thing, went from 5-10 in 13 weeks.
Depends how fit you are, I needed something flexible to check on my legs, so happy to do my own thing but programmes are ok too. I did not want recovery walks because I am stubborn LOL
There are lots of plans out there. Bupa do a good one, but I am following my own! Three runs a week consisting of two 5ks (to consolidate) plus a third longer run (now up to 7k). Also, taking note of an approx 10% increase each week. I am hoping to do a 10k event in March but hope to be up to the distance sooner.
Hope this helps. Good luck with the end of the programme!
