Boxing Day 7k...tick!

Managed to get out for my second 'Christmas' run this morning. I usually run alone but today ran with my sister who has been staying for the festivities🎄🎉🏃🏻😀 She is quite an experienced runner having done many half marathons and now looking forward to her first full marathon in June!! Took her along my muddy trails and up on the old railway line and had a lovely 7k run together - I did not realise that I am now able to hold a conversation whilst running (quite a step forward for me I think!). She was also suitably impressed by my love of mud and the good workout that it gave her and is now plotting a run for me to tackle when we visit them over New Year!😮😮 - not sure what I am letting myself in for there!!

Great feet run alike... and great gobs yack alike too - I did 7k too and managed to have a discussion with one of hubby's colleagues at the 5k mark. I didn't have my sister with me. Lucky you!

I'm sure you'll be posting after your new year run that you've been persuaded to tackle a marathon with your sister. You know it's Just a matter of time.

I now much prefer running with people. Also running and talking, both at the same time. Who'd have thought we could do that!
