I went to try some shorts today. Haven't worn shorts for more than 20 years at least. And guess what? they looked good. So thank you C25K for shaping my legs, for making them nice and tight. Thank you thank you thank you. I just wish I could run with my arms.......

Haha! Fab. I wore shorts on the gym treadmill recently (my physio wanted to see how I ran) and when I saw the recording I was chuffed as I looked better than I thought!

That's funny. My legs are still not things of beauty after 18 months of running (to be fair, they never were much to write home about pre middle age and cellulite), but my bingo wings and back boobs (you know what I mean) have disappeared. I do love to swing my arms though, as it makes the leg work a little easier! Short shorts are out for me, but strappy tops are back in!

Yet another benefit! I reckon my legs look better now than for years!

My mum was walking behind me recently and told me I've got 'proper runners legs'. Made me disproportionately pleased!

Running seems to have done great things for my arms, they are very firm now, weird when you consider I was a front crawl swimmer for years, that didn't do much at all for my arms. Sadly my bum seems to have been shaken downwards ....

I think I have to start moving my arms more when I run. I am still working towards the 100 push up challenge. I may need to do this for the next 10 months.
