I graduated this morning, by completing the final run of week 9 :) and I am proud of this achievement.

I will keep on running three or four times a week for half-an-hour. I otherwise wonder where to take this (running for longer, further, faster? 10K, 20K?) but I will stick to that routine for the time being.

Congratulations enjoy your graduation day and don't forget to apply for your badge. Sticking to 30 mins while you consolidate it is a good plan, next work to 5k as most are no where near that when they graduate ! Happy running :)

Well done!! Have you thought about building up to parkrun? It could be a good target.

Fantastic, well done. I graduated 8 weeks ago and started running 30 mins X 3 times a week. As I was feeling good, increased it to once a week doing parkrun (so 5K) and now I run 3 X 5k a week - it just builds naturally and as long as you make sure ur legs are ok, keep going!

Thank you all! :D I wasn't aware there was a graduation badge, which is neat :D where can I get it from? And what is parkrun?

If you click on the blue pinned posts on the right hand side under November 2015 Graduate Badge , you just need to write a post saying that you have completed .

parkrun is fantastic ! Its a free, timed 5k run for all ages and abilities held every Saturday at 9am throughout the UK.

You can check out the parkrun website to register . Have fun ! :-) xxx

Thank you! I will have a look at it, it sounds fun. I still think I need to build up more stamina to do it but I am going to be running 3 times a week henceforth so it should come naturally.

While I can run for 30 minutes, I don't run 5K over that length of time, far from it! So to do this parkrun, I would have to build either more stamina to run for longer or/and more speed.

You don't need to wait, you can run/walk it - or even just walk it, but its a good atmosphere to run in.

OK, I didn't know, I thought you had to run throughout the race.

Well done! You can do parkrun now, I first did it at w6, of course I couldn't run 5k then, run/walk, you can do it how you like, no pressure, great fun!
