Really pleased... did Week 5 Day 2 this morning. Was worried about the 8 minute runs.. but

not as bad as feared.( Dreamt about it last night)! Lovely morning, and got applauded by two pheasants ( wings) flying above me as I finished the 2nd, 8 minute run! Strength and Flex tomorrow,( got to keep this 65 year old body flexible...) then the 20 minute.. Day 3.. ! Eeeek!

It's never as bad as you fear! Just take your time, listen to Laura and all will be well. You only really hit trouble if you try and go too fast. Just stay slow and you'll finish the session

It's such fun and you get a real blast when Laura tells you it's all over and you can go home.

Yes, you have got to keep that body flexible. Some of us have left it a bit late to start getting fit but once started it gets addictive, especially so when you see how much fitter and healthier you can become. I'm 58 this week and am much fitter than I was, and much much lighter.

Enjoy your next run!

You're doing great! Trust the programme. That W5R3 is a beast as you approach it but it's the best feeling when you have done it- really! and you will indeed manage to do it! :)

Well Done!

Keep it steady and you don't need to worry about D3 - you have run 16 minutes already (that little break make very little difference) so it's only an extra 4 mins!

Take it one step at a time and you'll get there.

Happy running!

Thanks! I shall focus on the fact that it is only four minutes more...( minus the break) and hopefully will get there! I will keep you posted!

If u did 16 minutes, it is a short increase to 20! No break makes it better too, no need to crank up again after resting. Nice and steady and you can do it 😄
