W1R1 done!

Having not run since school, decades ago, I've just completed my first ever run with the help of my very patient daughter. Feels good to have started. The goal is to be able to do a park run with my son and daughter when my son is home from Spain at Christmas. Fingers crossed!

Well done for getting started. I'm sure you will achieve your goal!

I started from exactly the same position, with regards to years of inactivity and wanting to do a park run with my children. Now I'm about to go out for W8R1 and I've a Parkrun under my belt. If I can do it then anyone can, the hardest thing was starting. Good luck, and let us know how you are doing, some weeks are tougher than others but you can do it!
