Graduated some time ago and then stopped. Reasons could go on and on and....... Anyway after a fuel filled time in France returned to England and had put on some pounds and stopped running. After another food and drink packed evening, 4 weeks ago at the local fantastic Indian Restaurant, I weighed myself and saw a ridiculous amount on the scales.....
Time for a new start so C25K and healthy eating took over. Have so far lost 8 pound and progressed really well with C25K. Realised after just a few runs that I could progress with more confidence than before. Initially I could not breath after about 40 seconds but continued to the end then stopped; how crazy was that?
Having started again I can breath and run at the same time and decided I can do this again with far more knowledge than before. I am now on Week 4 enjoying every moment and, for the first time, have been running in the rain.
So, the whole point of this message is to say that even if you do give up please remember you have not failed just lapsed and, you can start again.

I keep starting again and lapsing again but it doesn't bother me. I now just see running as something I do when the mood takes me and even though most of the time I don't progress beyond Week 1 or 2, I enjoy what I do. I do miss being able to run for 5k plus though so maybe I should follow your good example and have a proper restart.
Thanks. Home for me, at the moment, is Hampshire. Having a day off looking after Grandchildren, going to the pub for lunch and watching the Rugby. Hope you have a great day.
We were there from about May to September. And next time it will be cold, in February, so it's running in the cold and rain here till then. Many thanksX
