Hi all, I have a sore foot and not sure what the problem is. 31/2 weeks ago I jog/walked a 10 k and was fine afterwards. 2 days later the car was in the garage so I walked (fast) the 2 miles into town, went to the gym & a swim, then walked back.

On and off since then I have had a pain in my right foot, on the top but towards the outside, about halfway between my little toe & heel. There is no swelling or bruising and is not tender to touch. I have done a couple of half hour jogs but have since rested for a week, but its still there. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hopefully not, I will see how it goes. Thanks for responding.

When you walked into town what shoes did you wear as it sounds as if your pain started after the walk. Was something digging into that part of the foot that you didn't notice at the time and caused a bit of internal bruising? Maybe your shoes are too tight. Maybe someone else will have other ideas but have a look at this in the meantime.

No idea what it could be but try some anti inflamatories for a few days (speak to GP first perhaps)

Thank you. I will go to jog Scotland on Friday & see what the instructor says as well.

You say not tender to the touch, when is it painful and what type of pain, what makes it worse and what makes it better ? what sort of shoe did you wear for the walk? ;)
