I was intending to do my first ever parkrun tomorrow but having survived Ciaran yesterday, the sun was shining and it was fairly calm. Forecast tomorrow not so good- ah the dilemma, go out this morning or do some S&F and do parkrun tomorrow?
Readers, the lure of a lovely sunny morning run was too great. The dog was well up for it after her laziness earlier in the week so that sealed it. She was obviously feeling guilty about welching on me before and set off apace. I thought we were fast because my singing was off key 😉 and sure enough the first 1K flew by. But although pacier than usual we found a good rhythm and had a lovely run.
Found some nice post run stretches on the Nike app and then managed to secure tickets for The Boss at Wembley next July- I reckon that was my reward for a completely unintended 5K PB this morning!
One happy Hettie here. Parkrun will still be there next week.

That's awesome, the singing confused me though, my singing is off key when I'm standing still I've never thought about how bad it must be when I'm running.
And dance as if no one's watching.....I've heard HIIT workouts could make me faster but I'm still at the planning stage 🤣🤣🤣. The way I used to dance was definitely HIIT! Living 10 years with a singer songwriter I rarely sang along to anything, now I sing a lot as no one is listening
