Autumn run

This run had its good points and bad points. Bad points: I'm still slightly injured from my slip while stretching and I still hurt. Good points: I made my 3.7 km (2.3 miles) in 30 minutes just the same anyway. Best part: I passed a couple of ladies twice on my laps and one told me that I was going entirely too fast and shouldn't have caught up to them yet. Granted, one was on a zimmer frame (walker), but still, I was happy. 😃

Ha ha, glad you got out there & achieved your running distance. Take care of that injury, don't push it x

I've been allowing myself more break days in between my run days. Thanks Marly!

I'm trying to work out why your post is tagged 'fasting'. Have I missed something?

Well done for overtaking them, it does the world of good. On my last run, I overtook wondeur wooman (my nemesis, a perfect French housewife who is never late and always has immaculate hair and nails, and always used to look at me like I'd been brought in on the bottom of someone's shoe at school meetings).

She was wandering down the road in a perfectly ironed black and pink tracksuit, impeccably clean trainers and a pair of designer sunglasses. She politely said "hello" with a smile, then did a double take when she recognized the sweaty, red-faced runner steaming past her with a grin on her face. I was dying to say, 'There's two stone less of me now, and I can not only run faster than you but I'm losing my running trousers for the right reasons'. Ha ha ha. That was a great moment of one-up (wo)manship time.

Oh that sounds like awesome fun. Good for you!!!! My post is tagged "fasting" because I used the word "fast" and the site misinterpreted. Lol.
