Good run/bad run

Back from the final run of week 7.

After 3 great 25 minute runs that left me elated, todays run was a bad run. My legs were heavy, struggled to get into a rhythm and it seemed to go on and on and on. I got through it and I was surprised that it was the fastest run yet?? I felt like I was going so slow.

Onwards to week 8, and hopefully more good or great runs.

Enjoy your run today even if it's a bad run. Still feels great to complete it.

Well done you.

I had bad run today. wk7R1. Need to repeat it as it was more than just bad. Good luck for week 8. I wonder if we’ll be June graduates? Here’s hoping!

Well done.

Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.

Forging forward Rinky1! 👏

I’m not running today....I developed a flipping sore throat yesterday, and not feeling great, so being cautious and staying home 😔

Good luck with your next run.

Congratulations on getting so far in the program!!

Funny, I had the exact same thing with my final run for week 7 two days ago with feeling it was an awful run but it turning out to be my fastest time! Like you am determined to keep going today with week 8 despite being admittedly a bit scared! Totally agree it still feels great to have done it!
