Unintentional 7.5k

Hubby dropped me at Parkrun this morning. New PB of 42.00 achieved. Just finished and walking to meet him at car park when he phones to say he can't find his wallet and can't put more fuel in the car so I will have to make my own way home. Decided to walk the first bit as it was a steep hill and then jog the rest of the way home. Looked up the route I took and ended up doing 2.5k! Even though there was a walking section between finishing Parkrun and doing the extra I never actually stopped so I am calling it a 7.5k! Wallet still lost. Car still thirsty. I'm ready for a nap!

Well done, that may be a great technique, just doing a run without worrying about it first. :)

These things happen! Doesn't matter when you can run home does it. That's just another one of the advantages. You should feel quite rightly smug about that. PB at Parkrun to boot. Not a bad day's work !

I dare say the wallet will turn up

Thanks. Interestingly the wallet turned up just before it was time to go to the pub to watch the rugby!

Well done! A pb and a long run in one day - good work! :-D
