Great feeling to have finished week one with run three yesterday , thinking back to my first run i can already see and feel an improvment. Looking forward to building my fitness to longer periods of run and less walk.

Feeling motivated !

Must be the day for it today - all us non-graduates seem to have had a good run ! Well done :-)

Well done! I've just finished my second of the week one runs - sticking at it is half the battle I think!

Yes sticking at it is definately the battle. At the mokent im so suprised because im actually looking forward to another run. Today i wanted to get out again but its my rest day. So im keeping to the plan to be careful not to over do it. Before ive been the victim of too much too soon , leaving me aching for days. Here i feel great!

My only reservation is the 9 weeks leading into dark mornings and nights and fitting in the runs around this and work. Street lighting is not so good so would be in complete darkness 😵

Well done - sounds like you're off to a great start. There is running gear and cycling gear available with reflective patches on it or luminous material - Aldi are doing end of season sale at present, and I picked up a thin jacket and a merino wool long sleeved shirt for £9.99 each. I also got 4 reflective bands with LED lights, batteries included for about £3.99.

I haven't looked into head torches, but I know lots of people on here use them and presumably have some suggestions on what ones work best.

Good luck with the rest of the program and let us know how it goes.

Thanks, ill look into the reflectives and think i will need a head torch if im going to get out on dark mornings/nights as its a rural area.
