Week one - DONE!!!

I wasn’t feeling too confident about today’s run as I found it really hard on Thursday. However, I chose a new route (not uphill this time and some grass as well as pavement) and I’m happy to say that it was actually ok! My ankles hurt a lot less, and I did a slightly longer warm up walk, 15 minutes rather than 5. Also I bought my dog along, and she put me to shame! Maybe the competition helped a bit 😂😂😂

Thank you! I chose a very secluded spot, nobody to point at laugh at me if I needed to stop and have a little cry 😂😂😂

No crying involved really, but I did make the odd stop to stretch my calves a little.

Nobody will laugh, I've mentioned this on here a few times, before I ran I used to see people running and i would say to myself 'I wish I could do that ' i wasn't laughing at them I had admiration for them . Be proud of the new you 😊

Excellent, makes a lot of sense to shake things up after a run that you've found difficult.

Beautiful scenery, looks like a great place to run.

It’s beautiful ❤️

Saw loads of butterflies, bees and horses. That in itself is a good reason to get out and about 👍
