Found today hard, was already aching from a day out in London yesterday where I did a lot of walking.
Probably the hardest run yet, but I didn't stop and managed the entire 30 mins.
Glad I have a proper rest day tomorrow.

Good for you for sticking it out. I suppose the moral of the story is that if you have a very active day of "rest" you might need to take an extra rest day to let your body resolve all the little issues with joints and tendons that arise on such a day, instead of running right away. Remember that the rest is part of your training. No rest means no reconstruction means no progress (the opposite, actually). But well done. It's good to be brave like that. It's necessary. As you go along (and the consensus is that for the next 2 years you will remain a beginner - like most of us) you'll get better at judging when you need extra rest, and when you don't need any. They say it takes time.
Well done for getting out there and keeping going. In a few weeks you will look back on this run and wonder why it seemed hard. Gary's right about the rest days, though - so make sure you get enough, and don't end up on the injury couch from overdoing it and not giving yourself enough recovery time.
Go you!
Well done lovely, just keep plugging away..some days when you're tired it feels so much harder and then the next one will seem easier....
I went out last night, was super hard...but I did it 😃
Keep going! Some runs are harder than others but always worth it in the end.
Thanks so much for your responses. I've decided to add today as another rest day, it's been a very hectic week. Back to it tomorrow
