So I have completed week 1 did all three runs, the final one being in the rain. The bathroom scales have also joined in the fun telling me I have lost 2 and 1/2 lbs last week. I am cutting down what I am eating as well by the way.
So 90 secs of running here we go.

Well done for taking those first steps!
Guess we British better get used to running in the rain! I don't think I'll risk the slippery coastal paths today though.
Looks like you're well back on track there. How much of your previous fitness do you feel like you kept? Did it all go? Did some survive? And how about your connective tissues? (Which I'm obsessing about at the moment, so I have to ask) Is there any perceptible difference in the state of eg your tendons from when you first attempted this?
I had felt that I lost all of my previous fitness, however, run 3 was way easier than run 1 so I think my heart and lungs have remembered how to work in conjuction with my legs. So I think I have retained more than I had realised.
Although in saying that it could be a rhythm/ pace thing. I felt much more comfortable in my groove on run 3, I think a lot was down to my muscle memory and stride/pace and settling in to my natural running rhythm.
Connective tissues seem to be holding well, though in saying that it is only week 1, and plenty of stretching. Time will tell.
Compared to the first time, the tendons and tissues all are better, though I was in a much worse state of fitness the last time. Although I havent been running, I have been walking and started cycling the 20 mins to work. So the legs have been used. The first time round I struggled on the 60sec wk1 runs.
Well done Qscout! Losing weight as well, big changes afoot, and great for starting again. Keep at it, you will definitely manage the 90 secs (even if it feels harsh at the time!)
