Started the c25k 2 weeks ago been sticking to the programme exactly... 1 day then 1 day rest. Must say really enjoying it...started off at 15 stone 3 pounds with a bmi of 33.3 has im only 5ft 7 inchs tall. So anyway i weighed myself today and weighing 14 stone 6 pounds with a bmi of 31.7..am really pleased 11 pounds lost in 2 weeks :) I've set a goal of 11 stone 6 pounds so 3 more stone to go. Looking forward to week 3..keep up the hard work everyone we can all do it :)

Well done. It's a good plan. I thought running for more than 2 minutes was impossible now regularly running 5k and inching towards 6K.

The sense of achievement of what was supposedly impossible is great. I stuck to the plan and now I'm only a few pounds of top end of normal for my BMI.

Well done, what great results already! Sounds like you're doing brilliantly. It's sensible to stick with Laura and the programme to avoid injury and make sure you're increasing slowly. The weeks will fly by and you'll be running for 30 minutes before you know it so no need to rush. :)

Yes it is so tempting for me to keep running but I say to myself that time will come in the following weeks but can really notice already the difference in me and don't want to run to far to soon so I start walking and running when Laura says , il keep you posted on my progress thanks for the support 😀

I've just come back from eight weeks on the injury couch and I promise it's absolutely no fun at all. You're so right - a few extra minutes running is not worth getting injured for! You're doing great, will keep an eye out for your posts! :)

I am at exactly the same stage as you but find I get really hungry on days I run in the morning. So have lost precisely nothing in weight. 😩 Love the running though.
