Hi guys,

That's me done with week 1 and getting ready for week 2.

Not sure what to expect.

Any advise?

Cheers,

Ash.

Well done! Just follow the plan and enjoy, it is really well devised and unless you go too fast you'll be grand!

Just keep on doing what Laura says. Slow and steady is the way to build up - and make sure you stretch out after your runs and take a rest day between each one. You'll be fine!

As Ullyrunner says, just take it slow and steady, stick to your rest days and don't forget to stretch! Don't worry about speed - just worry about completing the runs and in between gasping for air, remember to smile. After all, this is meant to be fun!

Can't really add much more to what everyone has already said. Well done on finishing week 1 and enjoy week 2 :) Listen to Laura, slow and steady is the order of the day and remember to stretch afterwards. Happy running :)

The programme is designed to build on what u did the previous week. Have a look ahead to week 2, then there are no surprises but take one run at a time so if there is a challenging run at the end of the week, just focus on doing that day's run. Take your time in every run, particularly as times increase - no prizes for speed! Breathe well.

In Topics on the right hand side, there are posts for each week - great to read through those for tips, re-assurance and encouragement.

If other people have done it, so will you, trust the programme. Julie
