Last night I went out with my local sweatshop's running group. Was a beginners 5km run.

I as I predicted was last BUT the back marker ran all the way with me & I got a PB 49:16 (previous was 52).

I was really nervous before but so glad I did it.

Good on ya Daisy !

I was as nervous as hell when I joined my running club, but I love it now and I am really glad I joined ! You will find that you will come on in leaps and bounds now .

Have you considered a parkrun at all ? :-) xxx

Thank you poppypug.

Yes I've done one park run and my time was 55:44 so I'm improving. The problem is both parkruns nearby are two buses away & I have to be pretty motivated to get up at 6.30 on a Saturday.
