We managed to find our pace and rhythm tonight. The weather really helped being a lovely sunny evening with a light breeze. Started off on our usual route, but instead of turning to make it circular, felt the urge to just keep running on, so we did....This was a good plan, gave us different scenery and felt great. That is until we came to the end of the 28 minutes and realised that we had to turn and walk the entire distance we'd just run back home - oops! Don't mind really, and it was an extra long cool down in countryside on a glorious summers evening. What more could you want! Oh, and it's surprising what information you can extract from your 12 year old, when she can't escape behind her iPad!

Well done and good luck for Race for Life (I assume on Sunday?) We're so close to graduation now.xx
Thank you! Yes, RFL is on Sunday, will try to post a picture of us at the end of it. Can't believe that there's only 4 more runs until graduation - I wonder what we'll do then !?! xx
I have started looking at the C25K+ podcasts! You with me? I thought a couple of weeks to consolidate the 30min run and then why not give it a go?! If you haven't done RFL before you will LOVE it. Don't be tempted to head out too fast though...it's always difficult to get the pacing right in a big crowd. Look forward to seeing the pic.x
I hadn't realised there were C25K+ podcasts, will have to take a look at them. Sounds like a good plan though! Might be the incentive we need to keep running over the summer holidays.
Have to go shopping tomorrow especially for safety pins for our race numbers! We were talking race tactics tonight on our long cool down, our latest plan is to pace ourselves at the start, and then try to pick off people one by one (a slight competitive streak is emerging!)
Thank you for your support. x
