So, on Friday I completed my w9d3. Went pretty well, although I had been consistently running 5k since week 7, so to be honest the last 3 weeks were pretty much the same. My 5k time is 32 minutes, which I'm reasonably happy with.
I've been running first thing in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays all though c25k which has worked pretty well for me.
So, on Monday, I thought I'd take the day off. I've finished c25k, and it would be nice to have a rest. This morning (Wednesday) I woke up early, looked out the window, and saw that it was raining pretty hard, and nearly just got back into bed... However I'd planned on doing on of the c25k+ podcasts (speed), so thought I'd better give it a go.
I loved it!! quite a short run at only about 16 minutes, but I genuinely enjoyed almost every minute. I'm not sure if it was because I'd "finished" c25k, or whether giving myself an extra day off helped, but I found it relatively easy to do the 150/165 intervals... By the end, I'd "only" run about 3k, but I smashed my 1k and 1 mile times.
So, err, yeah, that's the story of my first post-graduation run!
